About a Girl Festival

For the second consecutive year the festival About a Girl, an idea born to female composers to promote the underground circuit. The festival takes the role of women to claim their role in music, and to be recognized not only as "singer" but as a creative spirit. In this edition we have Vera, a composer of his haircut, and Eva Carmina, Cold Feet, Elena Gatonieve alma mater and Mireia author of the songs on The Big Head Troubled Boy.

GROUPS

Gatonieve: Gatonieve history began to take shape in late 2007 between Ellen Merlo (neiz) on guitar, piano and synths and Javier Garcia (Gizmo) on drums and programming. His songs mix of innovative ways of American-influenced indie rock with electronic and acoustic in a spirit of expansive nature.

His Haircut: is a project that emerged from Noah (jazz drummer) while Vera cut his hair at home (hence the name). Dario joined the project (violin), Ruben (bass and guitar), Matt (drums), Laura (clarinet and flute), getting a really interesting sound training, which explores the territories of American music.
