Jallal Chekara

Café La Palma has the great honor of hosting a major figure in world music: Jallal Chekara. This young singer and fiddle has become the heir and successor of the work of the Orchestra of Tetouan Chekara founded by his uncle Abdessadak Chekara. The most important of Jallal has been his ongoing work with Andalusian flamenco world. For over ten years has worked closely with major figures such as Enrique Morente and Carmen Linares. In our scenario will be joined by singer Vicente Gelo, guitarist and dancer Raul Cantizano The Choni, featuring a delicious blend of warm and insinuating sounds of Andalusian music from the depth of flamenco singing.
