Now that mixing tribal rhythms with indie pop is so hot, Local Natives are the best bands of that which some call Afro-Indian. The California quintet will pass through Spain with the excuse of the official presentation of 'Gorilla Manor' (Frenchkiss Records, 09), an album in that mix (and succeeds) vocal harmonies and folk packing Crosby Stills Nash & Young or Zombie with a little post-punk and a lot of afro-beat. What in the language of late leads to a mixture of Afro-indie of Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire's epic vocal games and Fleet Foxes.
